IMPACT 0 MIAMI 0
The Montreal Impact tied the Miami FC 0-0, on April 23, in the team's first game of the USL First Division 2006 season, at Tropical Stadium Park, in Miami. It was goalkeeper Greg Sutton's first shutout of the season. Defender Gabriel Gervais played his 100th career game with the Impact. Nevio Pizzolitto, who was nursing a stomach flu since he arrived in training camp in Florida April 18, was on the starting lineup and played the 90 minutes of the game. The Impact now boasts a lifetime record of six wins, five losses and two ties in season opening games. Last year, the Impact played to a 1-1 tie against the Puerto Rico Islanders, April 29.

The Impact clinched its first win of the season, beating the Puerto Rico Islanders 1-0, Sunday, at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium, in Bayamon. Impact forward Mauricio Salles, who played with the Islanders last year, scored the lone goal of the game and his first with Montreal to ensure the win. Goalkeeper Greg Sutton tallied his second shutout of the season and he now registers 60 career shutouts with the Impact. The team returns from its first road trip with a total of four points out of a possible six.
BRAZ, LEDUC AND RIBEIRO WITH THE NATIONAL TEAM
Three Montreal Impact players have been invited by the Canadian National Team for a training camp in Fort Lauderdale, in Florida, from May 1 to 8. Defender Adam Braz, as well as midfielders Patrick Leduc and Antonio Ribeiro were selected by head coach Frank Yallop.

Even when the Impact has no game scheduled, as is the case this week, or when he is not called up for national team duty, Patrick Leduc remains a busy man.
