IMPACT JOS LOUIS PUBLIC PRACTICE JUNE 12

The Montreal Impact will hold its first public practice of the season on Tuesday, June 12, at 7 pm at Concordia's Loyola Campus. Presented by Jos Louis, the practice will feature drills, animation as well as the chance to win promotional items. The whole team and coaching staff will be on site. There will be prizes and an autograph session. Team mascot Tac-Tik will also participate in the event. Six other public practices will also take place throughout the summer. The Impact (4-1-4) will play the final of a six-game stretch at home against the Charleston Battery, this Friday, (7 pm, Télévision de Radio-Canada, CJAD 800, Sirius, USLlive.com). On April 28, the Impact had signed a 3-2 win in Charleston. At home, Montreal boasts the best defense of the USL First Division with a 0,40 goals against average.

Impact team captain Mauro Biello will be the honourary president of the 2nd edition of the Laval Soccer Mundial, which will take place at Bois-de-Boulogne Sports Complex, in Laval, from July 1 to 7.
