IIHL Pre Season Schedule Released

PRESS RELEASE FOR SEPT. 11:

The Northern Michigan Predators will host all four North Division rivals on both opening night and division championship night for the International Independent Hockey League (IIHL) Pre-Season Fall Showcase Tournament.

All four North Division rivals will open their seasons in Harbor Springs at Polar Bear Ice & Fitness on Thanksgiving Eve. The Predators will face the North Country Barnstormers at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 26. A second game will be staged at 8:30 pm between the other two North Division clubs on Nov. 26.

The Predators will also play home games at 7:30 pm on Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 27) and at 7:30 pm on Friday, Nov. 28.

Another North Division doubleheader will be staged as a matinee event on Saturday, Nov. 29 in Harbor Springs. The Predators will play at 2:15 p.m. in a rematch against the North Country Barnstormers after a noon game between the other North Division clubs. The North Division championship game of the IIHL's Pre-Season Fall Showcase Tournament will be at 7:30 pm on Saturday, Nov. 29.

The championship game for the IIHL's Pre-Season Fall Showcase Tournament will be hosted by the Southern Michigan Super Wolves. The North Division champion will face the South Division champion at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30 at the Chelsea Arctic Coliseum.

The Northern Michigan Predators will then open the home portion of their regular season schedule on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 pm against Lansing. Predators General Manager Joe Kolodzeij said he expects the remaining home dates to be released this weekend by the league office.
