IHL Suspends Pair of Muskegon Players

April 2, 2010 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2) News Release


ROCHESTER, MI--- The International Hockey League (IHL) announced Friday the following suspensions resulting from player actions during IHL Game #238, Muskegon @ Dayton, on Wednesday, March 31st.

Muskegon right wing Robin Bouchard has been suspended a total of four (4) games for his actions during Wednesday's game. Bouchard is receiving an automatic one game suspension as a result of an accumulation of game misconducts in the "other" category. One game is being issued under Rule 29 (Supplementary Discipline) as a result of his on-ice actions. Two games are being issued as a result of his actions off of the ice. Bouchard will be ineligible to participate in the following games:

IHL Game #241, Muskegon @ Bloomington, Friday, April 2nd

IHL Game #242, Quad City @ Muskegon, Saturday, April 3rd

IHL Game #248, Muskegon @ Fort Wayne, Wednesday, April 7th

IHL Game #252, Muskegon @ Bloomington, Friday, April 9th

In addition, Muskegon center Todd Robinson has been issued a one (1) game suspension for his actions during Wednesday's game. The suspension is being issued under Rule 29 (Supplementary Discipline) as a result of his on-ice actions. Robinson will be ineligible to participate in IHL Game #241, Muskegon @ Bloomington, Friday, April 2nd.
