
IHL Announces 2009-10 First Team All-Stars

ROCHESTER, MI--- The International Hockey League (IHL) announced today the 2009-10 First Team All-Stars as selected by league head coaches, general managers and members of the media.
2009-10 IHL FIRST TEAM ALL-STARS
Goaltender - Tim Haun, Fort Wayne Komets
Defenseman - Matt Krug, Muskegon Lumberjacks
Defenseman - Daniel Tetrault, Port Huron Icehawks
Forward - Robin Bouchard, Muskegon Lumberjacks
Forward - Craig Macdonald, Bloomington PrairieThunder
Forward - Todd Robinson, Muskegon Lumberjacks
Tim Haun (G), Fort Wayne Komets - The 29-year-old native of Solsgirth, Manitoba completed the regular season with a 27-11-0-2 record, including three shutouts. He ranked first among IHL goaltenders in goals against average (2.12) and save percentage (.923). He was second in wins with 27, which is a career high for the netminder. Haun was honored with the IHL Goaltender of the Year award last week.
Matt Krug (D), Muskegon Lumberjacks - The 24-year-old native of Southfield, Michigan ranked first among defensemen in the league with 47 points, scoring 14 goals and 33 assists after the 2009-10 regular season. He also led defensemen in power play goals (9) and was tied for first in goals scored (14) with Fort Wayne's Guy Dupuis. The rookie defenseman was honored as the IHL Defenseman of the Year last week.
Daniel Tetrault (D), Port Huron Icehawks - The 30-year-old La Broquerie, Manitoba native finished the regular season ranked second among IHL defensemen in scoring, recording 45 points. He scored nine goals and dished out 36 assists in 65 games played for the Icehawks this season. His 36 assists led all defensemen in that category and he was also the Icehawks most productive defensemen.
Robin Bouchard (F), Muskegon Lumberjacks - The 36-year-old native of Jonquiere, Quebec native ended the regular season second among IHL scorers with 101 points, scoring a league-high 60 goals and knocking out 41 assists. He netted his 683rd career goal to become the all-time minor league goal scoring leader on Sunday, March 21st. He was named the IHL Most Valuable Player for the 2009-10 season last week.
Craig Macdonald (F), Bloomington PrairieThunder - The 27-year-old native of Milton, Ontario was ranked third in the IHL in scoring with 90 points, which was a career high for the forward. He scored a PrairieThunder franchise record 44 goals and dished out 46 assists. He led the IHL in game-winning goals, netting 11 during the 2009-10 season. He finished the season leading the PrairieThunder in scoring.
Todd Robinson (F), Muskegon Lumberjacks - The 31-year-old Trail, British Columbia native finished the regular season leading the league in scoring, recording a total of 109 points in 74 games played this season. He scored 21 goals and dished out a league-high 88 assists for the Lumberjacks. This is the second season in a row that he has captured the league scoring championship and the third time he has won it over the last four years.
