IGNITION AT COUGARS ON SATURDAY
The Detroit Ignition (18-7) will travel to Stockton this weekend to take on the California Cougars (9-17) for the last time this during the 2007-08 regular season. The Ignition have posted a 2-1 record against the Cougars so far this season. Kick-off is at 10:15 pm (EST) - you can follow along live at www.detroitignition.com




GREEN JERSEY AUCTION CONTINUES THROUGH MARCH 28!
There is still time to bid on your favorite Ignition player's limited edition 2008 St. Patrick's Day jersey! The silent auction will continue through the first part of the Ignition game on March 28 - winners will be announced that night! USED SOCCER EQUIPMENT DRIVE ON MARCH 28th!
The Ignition will be collecting used soccer equipment to donate to underprivileged children in Africa during the game on Friday, March 28th. The club is collecting full kits, soccer balls and shoes under size 8 - call 888-436-GOAL for more information on how you can help!

On April 4th, we are dedicating our final regular season home game to our heroes of the Armed and Community services! 2008 SOCCER CAMP REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
Warmer weather is just around the corner, which means 2008 Ignition Soccer Camps are forming now! Registration for this summer's camps has already begun - camp information and on-line registration is available by

CHANGE THE CHANNEL....
The remainder of the Ignition's home schedule will be broadcast live on Comcast Television, which is available on channel 900 for Comcast digital customers. Earlier Ignition games were broadcast on Comcast Local, which ceased operations on March 1, 2008.

    Would your youth soccer team like to play on the official playing field of the Detroit Ignition? Turf Time tournaments are organized prior to each Ignition home game - your team can even play at halftime!

    The club is currently looking for teams to play in the following tournaments:

    For March 28: U9/10 Boys FULL!
    For March 28: U13/14 Girls FULL!
    For April 4: U13 Girls FULL!
    For April 4: U14 Boys

    WANT TO BE AQUAFINA'S KID OF THE GAME?
    Do you live a healthy, active lifestyle, but still manage to have fun? Are you between the ages of 6 and 17? You might be Aquafina's next Kid of the Game! All you have to do is write a one-page essay on fun things you do to stay healthy, and you could be picked to win 15 tickets for you and your friends to a Detroit Ignition home game. Essays must be submitted at least three weeks before the game you select - winners will be notified two weeks in advance of their game. Please make sure you state which game your essay is being entered for.
