Ignition To Reveal Dance Team

(Southfield, Mich., November 10, 2008) - The 2008-09 edition of The Spark, the official Dance Team of the Detroit Ignition, will be revealed to the public for the first time on Friday, November 21, 2008 at Ignite at MGM Grand Detroit. The event is open to the public ages 21 years or older, and will run from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
"Partnering with MGM Grand Detroit to put on this exciting event is a thrill for everyone in the Ignition organization," Ignition Vice President of Business Operations Lindsey Gamrod said. "MGM Grand is known world-wide as a premier nightlife destination, and Ignite provides the perfect backdrop for this event."
The Spark Dance Team is comprised of 14 young women from around the Detroit area. The Spark will be performing at the party, and will be available for photographs and questions following their performance. The Ignition will also reveal The Spark's 2008-09 poster, which was shot at Ignite earlier this month.

The Detroit Ignition is a charter member of the Xtreme Soccer League, and begins the team's third season in December 2008 after completing the 2007-08 season as regular-season champions of the Major Indoor Soccer League.
