Ignition Announce April 20 Semi-Final Game at Compuware

(Southfield, Mich., April 1, 2008) - The Detroit Ignition will host Game Two of the 2008 Major Indoor Soccer League Championship Series Semi-Final Round on Sunday, April 20 at Compuware Arena, the club announced today. Kick off for the game against a to-be-determined opponent will be at 4:35 pm (EST).

The 2008 MISL Championship Series consists of six of the nine MISL Member Clubs competing in three rounds, the Quarterfinal Round (April 11-13), the Semifinal Round (April 18-20), and the Championship Series Final (April 26) at U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee. The Ignition clinched a first-round bye with their victory over the New Jersey Ironmen on Friday, and will move directly to the semi-final round.

The club's last regular-season home game is Friday, April 4 against the first-place Milwaukee Wave at 7:35 pm.

The Detroit Ignition is a member club of the Major Indoor Soccer League, and began the team's second season in November 2007 after advancing to the MISL Championship Finals during the 2006-07 season.
