Colorado 14ers News Release

DENVER, Feb. 11 - The Idaho Stampede took over sole possession of first place in the NBA Development League Western Division with a 122-121 overtime victory over the Colorado 14ers on Sunday night. Idaho improves to a D-League best 21-10 with the win, while Colorado falls to 19-10 after a second straight home loss.

Randy Livingston was the difference maker in the match-up between the top two teams in the Western Division. The Stampede's veteran point guard banked a 3-pointer off the glass from the left wing to tie the game at 107 and force overtime as time expired. Livingston then hit two more 3-pointers in overtime, including the game winner with 2.1 seconds remaining. He finished with 28 points, nine assists, and six rebounds in the Idaho win.

The two teams changed leads 14 times, and each led by as many as 11 points in the contest. Luke Jackson scored eight of his 18 points in the fourth quarter as Idaho rallied from an 11 point deficit in the final period to force overtime.

"You play that thing a hundred times and the teams are going to go 50 and 50. Maybe we should try a neutral site," said Idaho coach Bryan Gates. "The games about making baskets, and we shot 55 percent. I can't remember the last time we were over 50 percent."

Von Wafer led Colorado with a season-high 35 points. Elton Brown added 28 points and 10 and pulled down ten rebounds for his league leading thirteenth double-double of the season in the loss.

Colorado and Idaho are now 2-2 against each other this season, with each team winning twice on the others home court. The 14ers begin a three game road trip in Bakersfield on Thursday, February 15. The Stampede continues on the road at Arkansas on Thursday.
