Corpus Christi IceRays News Release
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The IceRays have announced the addition of former player Brad Power to the Hockey Operations staff. Power will be taking the role of equipment manager for the organization.
IceRays President, Cassidy Lange, had high praise of the new hire saying "I am thrilled to have Brad back in Corpus Christi. He was instrumental in the success during the time he played here, and was thrilled when he applied for the position. I know that he has a special place in his heart for the IceRays. He will make sure our players are taken care of."
Power, a Newfoundland native, played with the IceRays from 2015-17. Power is thrilled to be back in Corpus saying "It's pretty surreal. I definitely didn't imagine this three or four years ago when I was here, but to be back here with the group, management, and everyone makes me really excited for the start of the season."
As for Brad's living situations, he is in a familiar spot living with his billet mom from his playing days here in Corpus. He said, "It's amazing and so good to see Dana. Being back and being with her, she's so happy. She's unreal."
Power's first game back with the IceRays will be Wednesday against Maryland in Blaine.
