IceRays Complete Sweep with 3-0 Win

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Zachary Lindsay scored twice in the third period, and Anthony Stolarz stopped all 40 shots he faced as the IceRays completed the series sweep over the Odessa Jackalopes 3-0 in front of 2,904 fans inside the American Bank Center.

Just like last night's game, there was no scoring in the first period.

Beau Walker took a one timer off an AJ Jarosz pass and beat Odessa goaltender Connor Hellebuyck on the power-play 7:33 into the second period to give the IceRays a 1-0 lead after 40 minutes of play.

The third period started off the right way for Corpus Christi as Zachary Lindsay scored just 0:14 seconds into the period increasing the lead for the IceRays 2-0.

Lindsay struck again for his second goal of the game 14:17 into the final period of action to give the IceRays a 3-0 lead.

Anthony Stolarz was brilliant tonight as he stopped all 40 shots he faced from the Jackalopes.

The IceRays return home Sunday afternoon as they host the Texas Tornado. Puck drops at 3:05PM, coverage begins at 2:50PM with the IceRays Pregame Show on ESPN Radio 1440AM.
