
IceRays Add Three Rookies to Lineup

Corpus Christi IceRays News Release
The Corpus Christi IceRays announced today the signing of three (3) rookie players, Fowards Morgan Maclean, Stefan Lachapelle and Jared Jagow. This is the first set of rookie signees for the team this season. The IceRays are currently in preparation for the 2009-2010 season. Season tickets and corporate sponsorship packages are available. First, IceRays sign Morgan Maclean from the Western Hockey League. The 6', 180 lbs, Maclean played last season in Prince George where he scored 8 goals and 3 assists in 34 games. He also racked up 38 PIM.
Also joining IceRays are skilled forward Stefan Lachapelle. Lachapelle played Division 1 college at Robert Morris University where he scored 2 goals and 3 assists in 32 games. His best season came playing Tier II Junior for the Hawksbury Hawks where he scored over 100 points and won the Fred Page Cup.
The third IceRays signing is also a rookie, Jared Jagow. The Rosetown Saskatchewan native played his past three seasons in the Western Hockey League where he shared time between the Regina Pats, Prince Albert Raiders and the Seattle Thunderbirds.
