IceHogs set to open 2004-05 training camp

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs quest for the Colonial Cup will begin tomorrow, Monday, October 4, with a 10:00 a.m. practice at the Riverview Ice House. Each practice during training camp is tentatively scheduled to last one (1) hour, but are subject to last longer. All practices are open to the public and the media.
There will be two formal media sessions during the training camp. The first media day is scheduled for after the first practice on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Riverview Ice House lobby. All players and coaches will be available. The second media day will follow the Monday, October 11 practice, also in the Riverview Ice House lobby at 11:00 a.m.
The Hogs will play two exhibition games at the MARK of the Quad Cities against the Quad City Mallards. The first pre-season affair is slated for Saturday, October 9, the second on Tuesday, October 12 and both contests will begin at 7:00 p.m. The IceHogs will also hold an inter-squad scrimmage at Edwards Ice Arena in Beloit, WI on Wednesday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m.
