IceHogs playoff tickets on sale Friday

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs announced on Thursday afternoon that individual game playoff tickets will go on sale on Friday, March 30 at 10 a.m. The IceHogs have already clinched a spot in the upcoming 2007 Colonial Cup Playoffs and Friday is the first day that the general public can purchase single game tickets.

The IceHogs are currently fighting for the top spot in the UHL's Western Conference. Regardless of opponent, however, the IceHogs will host Games One and Two at the Rockford MetroCentre. Game One will be played on Friday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. Game Two is then slated for Sunday, April 15 at 5:05 p.m. The IceHogs will likely play either the Quad City Mallards or Chicago Hounds in the best-of-seven first round.

Next Home Game: Friday, March 30 vs. Elmira Jackals. The puck is slated to drop at 7:30 p.m. The IceHogs and the UHL present Battle of the Bands Night where four bands will compete for the chance to win an all-expense paid trip to New York City to audition for RCA records. The bands will perform before the game and during the intermissions. The first 1,000 fans to the game will get a free Battle of the Bands T-shirt brought to you by Forshier Construction, Thompson Transmissions and WXRX, 104.9 FM.
