PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Icehawks held on for an exciting 4-3 overtime win over the Bloomington PrairieThunder Tuesday night at McMorran Arena. Mike Kinnie lit the lamp exactly halfway through the first period to give the Icehawks the early lead. Jon Booras evened the score on a goal assisted by Craig Macdonald and Preston Briggs at 14:36 of the first. The score remained tied at 1 to end the period, with Port Huron outshooting Bloomington 16-10.

After a flurry of whistles, Brandon Naurato doubled the Icehawks' lead when he scored on a 4-on-3 power play with less than three minutes to play in the period. Ian Turner and Nick Lindberg assisted on the goal, Naurato's 24th of the season. With the assist, Lindberg became the third Icehawks skater to reach 60 points this season, joining teammates Mickael Bedard (66) and Derek Patrosso (65). Port Huron outshot Bloomington 10-6 in the second period.
