
IceGators' Sicard Suspended Four Games

CHARLOTTE, NC - The SPHL today announced that Louisiana IceGators forward Dennis Sicard has been suspended for his actions during SPHL Game #190, Columbus at Louisiana, played on Thursday, March 3.
At 16:20 of the third period, Sicard was assessed a minor penalty for instigating, a major for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 46.11, Instigator in Final Five Minutes of Regulation Time. Per League rules, he has been assessed a four-game suspension as follows:
- Automatic one game for instigating in the last five minutes of regulation (Rule 46.21) - Automatic one game for his third instigator penalty in one season (Rule 46.20) - Automatic two games for his fifth accumulated game misconduct of the season
Sicard will miss Louisiana's games against Columbus (Friday, March 18), Pensacola (Saturday, March 19), Mississippi (Friday, March 25) and Columbus (Saturday, March 26).
