Bozeman Icedogs News Release

ICEDOGS' Assistant Coach Kevin Stone recently summarized the state of the team, providing insight into what could turn into a very good year: "When Texas came to Bozeman at the start of the season, they expected to win. They built this confidence over the past two seasons in winning national championships. As we prepared for our Texas games players hoped to win. During our trip to Alaska guys expected to win. This mental state is something we have not seen in a long time."

This weekend, the ICEDOGS are in Blaine, Minnesota at the NAHL showcase tournament. For many of them, this is their prime chance to show off their talents in front of friends, family, and most importantly, college scouts.

The Blackhawks continued dominating in high style last weekend, winning 8-4 on Friday and 9-1 on Saturday. They welcome the Butte Rough Riders to town tomorrow and Spokane Flyers on Saturday. The Nor-Pac east division leader Bozeman Blackhawks (9-2) lead second-place Spokane by four points. Tickets are $6 adult, $4 student, and $2 child. 100% of Blackhawks' ticket revenue goes directly to the Gallatin Valley Hockey Club.

Check out the re-freshed ICEDOGS website! Infinity Pro Sports has updated the look and ensured us that the standings and statistics will remain current from now on. We have had a number of questions regarding Sports Juice, which is now a pay-per-listen service. There is a substantial cost associated to teams streaming games over the Internet. We decided to use that money to increase our advertising budget rather than provide this service to those outside of our market for free. Although there are technical difficulties from time to time with Internet streaming, it is the least expensive way to broadcast games to distant locations.

Do you want to see the BBKing concert for free? If so, sign up to be an usher by sending an e-mail to rconnell@bozemanicedogs.com! There are about 8 spots remaining for those interested in watching this concert on Friday night.
