PROVIDENCE, RI -The St. John's IceCaps were edged 2-1 by the Providence Bruins Sunday afternoon at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, R.I.
Colby Cave opened scoring for the Bruins just two minutes into the contest, while Colton Hargrove made it 2-0 for the home side half-way through the second. Ryan Johnston - with his first professional goal - drew St. John's to within one late in the second on the powerplay. The IceCaps are in action again Friday (8:45PM) at the Providence Bruins.
