ST. JOHN'S, NL (November 8, 2016) - Montreal Canadiens and St. John's IceCaps General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the IceCaps and defenceman Jeremie Blain have agreed to a mutual release of his AHL contract.
The six-foot-three, 200-pounder had an assist in two games with the ECHL's Brampton Beast so far this season. The Longeuil, Quebec native was selected in the fourth round (91st overall) by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
