Veteran forward Mikey Milne scored three goals, including two in the third period, to lead the Winnipeg ICE to a 5-1 victory over the Edmonton Oil Kings Saturday night at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena.
The best of 7 Eastern Conference Championship Series is tied 1-1 with the next three games shifting to Edmonton starting Monday.
Owen Pederson and Maximilian Streule also scored for Winnipeg, who finished the night 2/5 on the power play.
Logan Dowhaniuk had the lone goal for Edmonton. They went 1/4 on the man advantage.
The Oil Kings outshot the ICE 36-23.
Gage Alexander earned his first WHL playoff victory making 35 saves.
Sebastian Cossa stopped 18 of 22.
