
Ice Send Seven-Man Entourage To All-Star Game In Green Bay

ALL-STAR ENTOURAGE: The frozen tundra of Green Bay, WI will be invaded by a seven-man entourage from the Indiana Ice this Tuesday. Representing the USHL's East Division at the All-Star Game will be forwards Paul Carey, John Kemp and Greg Squires, defenseman John Carlson, Associate Head Coach Scott McConnell, Athletic Trainer Todd Champlin and Equipment Manager Darrin Flinchem.
ALL-STARS PART TWO: The Ice's player representatives head to the mid-season classic as four of the premier players this season in the USHL.
Paul Carey: Stat Line: (20G, 19A, 11PPG)....First in the USHL in power play goals and tied for second in goals....Eighth overall in scoring.
John Carlson: Stat Line: (8G, 18A, 6PPG)....Second among USHL defensemen in overall scoring and power play goals.
John Kemp: Stat Line: (7G, 38A, 20PPA)....Tied for first in USHL in overall scoring and first alone in assists and power play assists.
Greg Squires: Stat Line: (15G, 29A, 17PPA)....Tied for third in USHL in overall scoring.....Second in assists and power play assists.
ONE ON ONE MASTERS: With Friday's 5-4 shootout win over Des Moines, the Ice tied the USHL record for most shootout wins (8) in a season, equaling Green Bay's mark set during the 1997-98 season. Indiana, who is 8-2 in shootouts, is five shy of Des Moines' record for most shootouts in a season (15) set in 2006-07.
LATEST SENSATIONS: Greg Squires is riding a four-game point streak (2G, 7A).....Patrick Cullen has goals in two of his last three games....John Kemp has seven assists in his last six contests....Four of the Ice's eight goals on the weekend came from defensemen (Cameron Schilling, John Carlson, Ben Blood, Nick Bailen).
TEAM MARVELS: The Ice has played a league-most 22 one-goal games in which the club is an impressive 16-2-4....Indiana is 17-2-3 at home this season....The Ice is 13-4-2 against the East Division...Indy's opponent this week (Chicago) has won six straight games and is 9-0-1 in their last ten contests.
