Ice Release 2007-08 Schedule

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Indiana Ice begin the 2007-08 season and their quest for the Clark Cup when they visit the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on Saturday, October 6th. A week later, the Ice return to the Pepsi Coliseum for their home opener against the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets on Saturday, October 13th at 7:00 p.m.

The Ice play a schedule composed of 60 games which includes 30 home games, 27 of which will be played on the weekend. The remaining three home contests will be played on Wednesday nights. All Ice home games are scheduled for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop, but venues for all of the home games has yet to be determined.

The 2007-08 version of the USHL includes 12 teams split into East and West Divisions. In the East Division, the Ice is joined by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, Ohio Junior Blue Jackets, Chicago Steel, Green Bay Gamblers, and the Waterloo Black Hawks. Out of the West Division will be the Lincoln Stars, Omaha Lancers, Sioux City Musketeers, Des Moines Buccaneers, Tri-City Storm, and defending Clark Cup Champions, the Sioux Falls Stampede.

The Ice play teams within their division seven times with the exception of Ohio, who Indiana will meet on eight occasions. Indy faces opponents outside their division twice at home and twice on the road, highlighted by a weekend homestand on March 7th and 8th against Sioux Falls.
