Ice home for two this weekend

INDIANAPOLIS - On a cold winter night on the last day of January, the Ice will warm up the Pepsi Coliseum with Hardee's Island Party Night. The annual luau will take place this Saturday, January 31 when the Ice hosts rival Green Bay at 7:30 pm.

The Ice and Gamblers play both Friday and Saturday night at Pepsi Coliseum which will be a battle for first place in the USHL's closely-contested East Division. Each squad enters the weekend with 50 points with face-off set for 7:30 p.m. both nights.

On Saturday, the Ice and Hardee's want to usher in the month of February with warm weather and an Ice victory. For your listening enjoyment, two live performers will be playing music made popular by Jimmy Buffet and the duo will be joined by the sound of steel drums helping set the mood for the night. The musicians will be on hand prior to the game, during intermission and for a bit after the contest.

All fans must do their part as well and dress for the game in their best island costumes. There will be a contest for the best dressed fan, a host of giveaways throughout the night, specials on drinks and food and the best gift of them all is a trip for two to an island getaway.

Tickets are just $11 and $7 on Island Party Night, $5 off the regular ticket price. In addition, college students who show their college ID at the door get in for half price ($8 or $6).
