INDIANAPOLIS- The Indiana Ice announced today that forward Dywer Tschantz has committed to playing collegiate hockey at Cornell University. Cornell is an NCAA Division I member of the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC).

Tschantz becomes the fourth Iceman to commit to the Ithaca, NY program and would join former Ice forwards Brian Ferlin and Christian Hilbrich on the "Big Red" roster. Locke Jillson (07-08) was also a four-year skater at Cornell.

In his first season with the Ice, the Wilmington, DE native ranks second on the team in goals (6) and has racked up nine points (6G, 3A) through 13 games.
