Indiana Ice News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Indiana Ice announced today that the team has called up center Eric Miller and added him to the team's 23-man roster.

Miller has been skating for the Indianapolis Checkers (AAA) team and was their leading scorer with 18 points (10G, 8A) in ten games of work.

"Developing local players is one of the central goals of our program," said Ice General Manager Josh Mervis. "Eric is a very shifty playmaker who has excelled with the Checkers and deserved this promotion."

Miller is expected to join the Ice this week as the team prepares for three home games in four nights at the Pepsi Coliseum starting with Thursday night's game against the Chicago Steel at 7:00 p.m. Indy also hosts the Des Moines Buccaneers on Friday and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on Sunday. Game time is 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Sunday's late afternoon matinee is at 5:00 p.m.

Tickets for the three home games this week range from $9-$17 and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations including select Marsh Supermarkets, Karma Records, select L.S. Ayres and the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Conseco Fieldhouse box offices, or by calling 239-5151 or online at ticketmaster.com. Groups of ten or more can order their tickets through the Ice office by calling 925-4423.
