Ice Bats Announce New Club Seating
August 16, 2006 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Austin Ice Bats News Release
The Austin Ice Bats of the Central Hockey League today announced the addition of new club seating, to be featured among the continuing renovations at the team's new arena, Chaparral Ice Arena. The new second-tier Center Club and Balcony Club sections will be complete by the opening of the team's training camp in October.
The new seating levels will comprise a private club on the arena's North side. Ticket holders in those sections will receive exclusive amenities including full wait service at their seat, a private entrance and exit, and reserved, close-in VIP parking. Ice Bats players will also be available to meet and greet fans after each home game.
As with all Ice Bats season ticket holders, club section holders also receive a discounted ticket price, guaranteed seat location, a discount on all team merchandise, a season ticket holder-only preseason game, and first right of refusal for the 2007 CHL Playoffs. In addition, season ticket holders pay no facility or handling fees, saving up to $3 per ticket.
"For the first time, we will be able to offer true club seating, with full bar and wait service available to our club seat holders right at their seat," said Ice Bats President Jeff Buch. "This is something that many of our fans have wanted for a long time, but we were unable to offer before relocating into a new facility. We're excited to be able to offer our fans more amenities than we ever could before." The Ice Bats will open their 11th season on Saturday, October 21st at 7:30pm against the defending Northern Conference champion Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs.
The all-new Chaparral Ice Arena is located on I-35 between Howard Lane and Wells Branch Parkway. Season tickets and corporate partnerships for the '06-'07 campaign are currently available, with full-season and half-season ticket plans on sale now. Fans may call the Ice Bats ticket office at (512) 927-PUCK, or log onto the team's website at www.icebats.com for more information.
