ICE Announce Details for Upcoming Clothing Drive Night and New Year's Eve Celebration Game

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club announced on Tuesday the details for its upcoming Clothing Drive Night presented by Northstar GM and its New Year's Eve Celebration Game presented by Pacific Coastal Airlines.

CLOTHING DRIVE NIGHT PRESENTED BY NORTHSTAR GM

The ICE Clothing Drive Night presented by Northstar GM is taking place on Saturday, December 29 when the ICE host the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT.

Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used clothing items to the game, with all donations going towards organizations in the Cranbrook area.

The Salvation Army will be on-site to collect the clothing and cash donations. Their truck will be parked outside the entrance of Western Financial Place (WFP) to accept donations upon entry. The Salvation Army will also have a table set up inside WFP for monetary donations.

In addition, the ICE Clothing Drive Pick-up Event will be held on January 24 from 6-8 p.m. Employees from Northstar GM along with Kootenay ICE players will be going door-to-door in Cranbrook collecting donations for the Salvation Army. All donated items will stay in the Cranbrook area.

NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATION GAME PRESENTED BY PACIFIC COASTAL AIRLINES

The New Year's Eve Celebration Game presented by Pacific Coastal Airlines is taking place on Monday, December 31 when the ICE host the Victoria Royals. Puck drop is scheduled for 4 p.m. MT.

Pacific Coastal Airlines will be giving away a round-trip airfare for two to Vancouver, as well as one night's stay at the Pacific Gateway Hotel. ICE Country can enter to win by filling out a ballot at the ICE tent during the game. The winner will be announced during the game.

In addition, this game marks the return of the ICE House Band, the Mile High Club, presented by KD Electric. The band will be playing music prior to the game, as well as during the first and second intermission.
