Ice and 'Kings Set to Gear up in Preseason Clash

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Indianapolis Ice announced today that the team has scheduled a pre-season game with the defending CHL Champion Memphis RiverKings for Friday, October 11th at 7:00 p.m. from the Pepsi Coliseum. The two teams will meet again the following night in Memphis.

The contest marks the head coaching debut of Ice coach, Ken McRae and offers Ice fans their first look at a revamped roster that includes the high-scoring forward trio of Kevin St. Jacques, Randy Holmes and Andrew Taylor.

Tickets go on sale for the game this Wednesday (10/2) at 10:00 a.m. All seats for the exhibition game with the RiverKings are reserved seating and will cost $8.00.

The Indianapolis Ice opens up its 15th season of hockey in the "Circle City" when the team hosts the Tulsa Oilers on Friday, October 18th at 7:00 p.m. from the Pepsi Coliseum. Training camp for the Icemen is slated to begin on Monday, October 7th.
