ICE Acquire Draft Pick for Woodside

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club announced on Monday that its traded 2001-born goaltender Carter Woodside to the Regina Pats in exchange for a conditional eighth round draft pick in 2019.

The ICE selected Woodside in the sixth round (111th overall) of the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

Woodside played 24 games for the Prince Albert Mintos of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League last season.

With Monday's trade, the ICE enter training camp with six goaltenders.
