Houston Takers News Release
Houston, TX. The ABA Houston Takers have teamed up with Terry Williams, the owner of Dog Gone Dogs in Houston, Texas to introduce a more affordable plan to bring in small businesses as sponsors. "I think teaming up with Terry will really give us a boost in sponsorship on the small business level which is important to us," said team owner Larry Leonard II.
"We are inviting at least 100 small businesses to join in for $600 for a VIP package for the first five home games of the season. The package includes two season tickets and their business name or logo on a banner at the games as well. This will allow us to reach out to the community as well since small businesss have a closer relationship and a more hands on approach with the community," added Williams.
There is a change in the air this year and it is evident that community involvement is a "top priority" on the agenda of the Houston Takers. On September 15th, they are planning a community picnic with the City of Houston and will introduce the new team and the new look and logo.
