Houston Taker Signs Contract In Mexico

Houston Takers News Release

Houston, TX. The ABA Houston Takers were saddened yesterday when Larry Satchell services were requested to help out a team in Mexico's LNBP league. The LOBOS DE LA UAC SALTILLO are 12-22 and are trying to make it to the playoffs and they thought that Houston's Larry Satchell would improve their team.

"We really hated to get that phone call, but that's what we're here for," stated Taker owner Larry Leonard III. "No one in the ABA is trying to be a six year veteran; Larry is a good kid and a good player and we wish him well. When the Lobos called and told us where they were and needed Larry to bring in the muscle and to do what he does best, I said ok. I call Larry "The Windex Man" and his play in the ABA made his new contract possible. We are very pleased and proud of him and hope he'll be back again."
