The Houston Stealth has released center Angela Jackson.

Jackson played in 8 games for the Stealth this season. She averaged 2.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in 14.5 minutes per game. Angela scored a season-high 9 points February 15th versus the Chicago Blaze and she grabbed a season-high 7 rebounds February 25th versus the Springfield Spirit.

The Stealth (2-6) play the Springfield Spirit (8-2) Saturday, March 8th, in the Mohegan Sun Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 pm (CST).

Houston's next home game is Monday, March 10th, versus the Birmingham Power. Game time is 8 pm.

The Houston Stealth is the defending National Women's Basketball League (Pro Cup) Champion. The Stealth will play its home games at Autry Court (8 games) and Hofheinz Pavilion (1 game) this season. Tickets are on sale at www.NWBL.com/stealth. The NWBL heads into its third season with six teams expanding the United States and these teams will play a twenty-game season from February 1 to April 13, 2003.
