The two-time defending NWBL Pro Cup Champion Houston Stealth is set to face the Dallas Fury at Autry Court on Sunday, January 25th at 3pm.
The Stealth is coming off an opening weekend spilt â a loss on the road to the Colorado Chill followed by win at home over the Birmingham Power.
The Dallas Fury (previously the Tennessee Fury) is the team that the Stealth defeated in the Pro Cup Championship series in 2003.
Houston Stealth: After two games, Tina Thompson currently leads the team in scoring at 20.5 points per game. Cynthia Cooper leads the league in assists with 6.0 per game. Tamicha Jackson is second in the league in steals with 3.5 per game and Kelley Gibson is forth in the league with 2.5 steals per game.
Dallas Fury: Head coach Nancy Lieberman brings to town an explosive offense lead by Anna DeForge, Felicia Raglands, and Maxanne Reese. The Fury's inside game is dominated by Cheryl Ford, the WNBA's 2003 Rookie of the Year.
University of Rice, Autry Court: The Rice ticket office is located in the northeast corner of Autry Court, which is most accessible from Entrance 8 off University Blvd.
Tickets: Individual game tickets are on sale on the internet at http://www.nwbl.com/stealth/tickets.asp or at the Rice ticket office an hour before the game. Tickets are $15 for reserved, priority seating, $12 for reserved seating, $8 for adult general admission and $5 for child general admission.
