
Houston Dynamo FC Marko Maric Named to MLSSoccer.com Team of the Week

HOUSTON - Houston Dynamo FC goalkeeper Marko Maric was named to the MLSSoccer.com Team of the Week after finishing with seven saves in Saturday's 1-1 draw in Utah against Real Salt Lake.
The goalkeeper raised $3,500 for the Houston Independent School District on Saturday through Dynamo Charities and the Every Save Makes a Difference program. The Every Save Makes a Difference program is managed by MLS Works in collaboration with TUDN and Allstate.
Maric is the fourth Dynamo player named to the MLSSoccer.com Team of the Week this season and this is the first league honor for the Dynamo shot stopper. The 25-year-old has 35 saves this season, the fourth most in the Western Conference. The Dynamo goalkeeper finished with 80 saves in 2020, the most in the Western Conference and the second most in the league.
Maric and the Dynamo return to BBVA Stadium on Saturday, July 3 to host FC Cincinnati at 7:30 p.m. Saturday's game is the first full capacity game at BBVA Stadium since the opening match of the 2020 season between the Dynamo and LA Galaxy on Feb. 29, 2020.
