Houston Dash Visit Seattle Reign FC Tonight

SEATTLE (Wednesday, August 12, 2015) - The Houston Dash visit Seattle Reign FC tonight at 9:00 p.m. CT at Moda Pitch at Memorial Stadium. The match will be broadcast live via YouTube at HoustonDashSoccer.com/live. Game notes for the Dash are attached.

This is the first meeting between Houston (5-6-5, 20 points) and first-place Seattle (9-3-3, 30 points) this season. After a break this weekend, the teams will face off for a second time in Houston on August 21.

The Dash are currently in sixth place in the NWSL, two points out of the fourth and final playoff spot. FC Kansas City and Portland Thorns FC are both sitting on 22 points, and face each other at 7 p.m. CT tonight. With just four games remaining in the regular season including tonight's match, the race for the final playoff spot and the Dash's first postseason berth is heating up.

Seattle is led by 2014 NWSL MVP Kim Little, who has recorded six goals and a league-leading six assists this season. Forward Beverly Yanez is the team leader in goals scored with nine, but Reign FC have had 10 different players find the back of the net. Reign FC lead the NWSL in goals scored (30) and goals allowed (17). Seattle is winner of its last three matches.
