
Hounds Sign Prop LaRome White

CHICAGO, I.L. - The Chicago Hounds have signed veteran prop LaRome White, the club announced today.
The 6-foot-3, 260-pound White spent his first season with the Seattle Seawolves in 2018, appearing in four contests while helping them win the first-ever Major League Rugby championship series.
The prop signed with Austin after his rookie season and spent the last four seasons with the club. White has played in 40 games and his career numbers include 100 carries for 559 meters gained (5.6 meters per carry) and three tries. Defensively, he is credited with 179 successful tackles on his 195 tackle attempts.
White played collegiately at the University of Louisville, transitioning from a center to a prop after his freshman year. He earned Collegiate All-American honors in 2017 and was named the best prop in D-1AA rugby that year.
