Hounds QB signs Arena contract

The 2002 NIFL National Champion Ohio Valley Greyhounds have lost their 2002 Indoor Bowl II MVP Qb, Jose Davis.

Davis, 6'2", 215 pound quarterback led the Greyhounds for the past 1 ½ seasons. Jose left the Greyhounds in 2001 to rejoin the Winnipeg Bluebombers of the CFL.

Davis will leave the Hounds to join the Indiana Firebirds of the Arena Football League. The Firebirds currently hold four qb's under contract; Raymond Philyaw, Dave Preistly, Jim Ballard and Craig Whelihan.

Davis attended Kent State and is a local legend, who led Bellaire High School the Ohio state championship game and holds multiple Kent St. and Ohio passing records.
