Horsemen Tryouts Breed Success

Lexington, Ky. - After a busy week for the Horsemen Football team that concluded with the opening round of player tryouts, the Horsemen are proud to announce the signing of 4 players to their '06 camp roster. Joining the Horsemen will be Joshua Williams, Kenya Williams, Mike Williams and Octavious Latimore.
Both Joshua Williams (6'2 225lbs. LB/DL) and Kenya Williams (6'2 307lbs. DL) come to the Horsemen from local powerhouse, Georgetown College. They look to add depth to an already impressive defensive line from last year.
Mike Williams (5'11 175lbs. WR/DB) signs with the Horsemen after finishing up his career at the University of Kentucky in '04. He adds another ball hawk to a secondary that led the league in interceptions last year with 27.
Octavious Latimore (6'2 230lbs WR/LB) joins the Horsemen from Carson Newman College. At CNC he was a teammate of fellow Horsemen running back Randy Bell, and is another athlete that will add depth to both sides of the ball.
In other exciting Horsemen news, Bob Sphire will return to the sidelines for his third season as Head Coach of the football team. He along with Defensive Coordinator/ Defensive Backs coach Mike Zuckerman, Defensive Line Coach Mike Harmon, Wide Receivers Coach Troy Hobbs, Running Backs coach Donny Walker, Offensive Line Coach Chuck Allen, and Kicker Coach George Barber, all return this season as coaches with the organization. Also Traye Moore has been added to the staff as Linebackers Coach for the '06 season.
Also, The Horsemen would like to announce the launching of the new website. Kirk Interactive has launched a brand new website for the 2006 season. The site is complete with a photo gallery, player bios, and computer wallpaper. Fans will have the ability to buy single game tickets when they go on sale in March, through the website.
