
Horsemen, Legends to show Indoor Bowl 4 at Applebee's Park

Lexington, KY, August 4, 2004 â Lexington Horsemen fans will have a fun and exciting place to watch Indoor Bowl 4 this Saturday, thanks to a partnership between the Horsemen and the Lexington Legends. Fans will be able to come to Applebee's Park on Saturday night to watch WKYT's live broadcast of the NIFL championship game on the stadium's large video board â free of charge. Parking will also be free, full concessions will be available, and the gates will open at 7:00 PM EST for the 8:05 PM EST kickoff. Horsemen mascot Spike and members of the Lexington Fillies and PowerAde Posse will be on hand to entertain the fans, and there will be contests and giveaways for the fans during the game.
"Saturday will be yet another great day for professional sports in Lexington," said Horsemen President Ron Borkowski. "Not only will the Horsemen be playing for the league championship in only our second year, but the Legends will continue to demonstrate their commitment to Lexington's sports fans by providing this wonderful venue to watch the game."
Seating will be open for Saturday's game. If there is rain on Saturday night, fans will be invited to move under the Applebee's Park overhang to watch on the large video board, or move to the concourses to watch on the closed-circuit televisions there.
