CORPUS CHRISTI - The Corpus Christi Hooks take on the Midland RockHounds, farm club of the Oakland Athletics July 4-10. Corpus Christi begins a stretch of 12 games in 14 days at Whataburger Field, with off days set for Tuesday, July 5 and Monday, July 11.
The Hooks kickoff their homestand on July 4 and celebrate the holiday with Independence Day Fireworks postgame. Corpus Christi's first homestand against the RockHounds is also highlighted by a Lance McCullers Jr. Hooks bobblehead and Hooks Margaritaville jersey giveaway.
Goodwill Industries of South Texas is this week's Share2Care 50/50 Raffle beneficiary.
