Tulsa, OK - The Tulsa Drillers hit five home runs and nine total extra base hits in a 9-3 win over the Arkansas Travelers on Friday night. The game was scoreless into the bottom of the fourth before Kody Hoese launched a three-run home run to open the scoring for the Drillers. They would go on to hit two home runs in each of the next two innings. Starter John Rooney went 5.2 innings for the Drillers to get the win.

* Hoese hit a 1-2 pitch with two out in the fourth out to left field to put the Drillers on top.
* Arkansas had a late opportunity to make things interesting. Trailing by six, they had the bases loaded with two out in the eighth but a strikeout ended the threat.
