Mississippi Surge News Release
The Mississippi Surge unfurl the President's Cup championship banner tonight at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum at 7:05 p.m., just prior to the first home game of the season, against the Huntsville Havoc.
The Night of Champions will also feature the Hancock Bank Hometown Hero, Ray Brown, who was the MVP of the Ole Miss 1958 Sugar Bowl victory over Texas. He later won two NFL championships with the Blatimore Colts, and was a road rommate of legendary quarterback Johnny Unitas.
Surge players will also be wearing special jeresys tonight that fans can bid on in a postgame auction. Following the auction, there will be trick-or-treating with the Surge players at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
Season tickets for the 2011-12 Surge season are on sale now, with plans starting for less than $10 per game. For more information call the Surge at 228-287-PUCK (7825).
