Birmingham Legion FC News Release
BIRMINGHAM, AL - The USL Championship announced today the contest between Birmingham Legion FC and Atlanta United 2 that was abandoned at halftime on Wednesday, June 30 due to unplayable field conditions after torrential rain fall has been rescheduled.
The teams will meet on Wednesday, August 4 at 7PM CT at BBVA Field. Under the USL Championship's rules, the game will be replayed in its entirety from the opening kickoff with the score line at 0-0.
All tickets purchased for the original game will be valid for the rematch, and fans can get tickets for the new date HERE.
