Hollweg named Greyhound WHL Player of the Week

Calgary - The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is forward Ryan Hollweg of the Medicine Hat Tigers. Hollweg earned player of the week honours by recording five goals and eight points in four games, including two power-play goals and two game-winning goals during the week of January 26th to February 1st. Hollweg helped lead the Tigers to a 3-0-1 record for the week.

On Tuesday, January 27th, Hollweg recorded an assist in a 1-1 tie against the Hitmen in Calgary. On Wednesday, January 28th, Hollweg recorded two goals and added an assist in a 6-4 road victory over the Kootenay Ice.

On Friday, January 30th, Hollweg recorded two goals and one assist in a 3-1 win against the visiting Lethbridge Hurricanes. On Saturday, January 31st, Hollweg scored a goal in a 5-1 victory over the visiting Brandon Wheat Kings.

Hollweg, a 20-year-old from Langley, British Columbia, is a free agent.
