Wichita B-52s News Release

Wichita, Kansas - December 19, 2013 - The B-52s had a wonderful night getting to know their fans on Monday (Dec. 16th ) at Hotel at Old Town. "Holidays with the B-52s" was an event open to the public to give the B-52 players an opportunity to spend time with their fans, friends, and families. From 6-8pm, players were signing autographs, chatting with fans, decorating cookies, making snowflakes, and reading Christmas stories to the children. Santa was even in attendance! At 8pm, the B-52s invited their season ticket holders to an after-party in a separate conference room for extended time with the players along with h'orderves and a cash bar.

"We had a fabulous time! Thank you for an amazing evening!" -Cindy Blevins, B-52s fan and Season Ticket Holder.

"I've been a season ticket holder the past 3 years and this is the first season I've felt appreciated as one by the club. The club had a very nice party for us with appetizers and desserts after the fan event. We got to sit down and chat with Joey Pindell, the rest of the front office, and the players.

Great job and much appreciated!" -John Ferreira, B-52s fan and Season Ticket Holder.

The B-52s want to thank everyone for coming out and giving us the opportunity to visit with you and share some laughs. We are fortunate to have such a beautiful and supportive community to interact with and represent.

If you were unable to join us, we're sorry that we missed you. However, there will be more events in the future! Many thanks to Hotel at Old Town for providing their space and hospitality, Latour Management for the delicious food, SANTA for spreading the holiday cheer, and Tony Schock with GS Memorymaker Photography for capturing the occasion!
