
Holidays in July Part of Loaded 4-Game Homestand from July 18-21

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies return from the All-Star break with a loaded four-game homestand from Thursday, July 18th to Sunday, July 21st. The Grizzlies will host the Tacoma Rainiers, Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariniers, for the final time this season during the four-game set at Chukchansi Park.
The Grizzlies and Salvation Army will host Holidays in July over the course of the entire weekend. Both organizations encourage fans to donate items suggested on specific dates to help spread the holiday spirit early this year but in the time of need for most. The Holidays in July Drives include: new or gently used shoes (Thursday, July 18th), new or gently used coats (Friday, July 19th), canned or non-perishable food items (Saturday, July 20th), and new, unopened packs of socks and underwear (Sunday, July 21st).
The first game of the homestand is Ladies Night Out 2, presented by California Lottery, and Tecate Thursday on July 18th. Fans can purchase $2 24 oz. Tecate and Tecate Lights through the fifth inning as well as $1 sodas all game long. For Ladies Night, manicures, pedicures, and massages will be available along the concourse. Also, to help benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, special Ladies Night Out shirts will be available for purchase as well as a silent auction. The Drag Kings, presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, will give one of their two homestand performances on Thursday. The second-to-last Tecate Thursday starts at 5:30 pm with a pre-game performance by Motel Drive, presented by New Rock 104.1. The Fulton Mall entrance opens at 5:30 pm while all other general admission gates open at 6:05 pm for the 7:05 pm game.
Farm Grown Friday, July 19th, features Christian Fellowship Night, presented by the Christian Business Men's Connection. Special guest and former Major Leaguer Bobby Richardson will be on hand to sign autographs for fans during the game as well as lead a postgame discussion. Richardson played with the New York Yankees, winning four World Series titles, garnering five Gold Glove awards and being named an All-Star six times. As with all Farm Grown Fridays, there will be a Farm Forum in The CRU Club starting at 5 pm, a Farmer's Market, presented by Fresno Equipment Company, along the Chukchansi Park concourse and a postgame fireworks show. The Grizzlies will also wear a special Relay For Life theme jersey, which will be auctioned off during the game to benefit the American Cancer Society.
On Saturday, July 20th, it is Girl Scout Night with a special guest appearance by Peyton List, star of Disney Channel's "Jessie." List will meet with fans and sign autographs during the game. The Drag Kings, presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, will perform for the second time during the homestand. Also, there will be a showing of Parental Guidance, which was partially filmed at Chukchansi Park, on the stadium video board after the game, presented by California Lottery.
The four-game homestand concludes on Sunday, July 21st with a 6:05 pm game. Before the game, fans can enjoy Family Catch on the Field, the Stauffer's Animal Crackers Pre-Game Parade for kids 12 and under, and Future Giants and Parker Autograph Session. After the game, there will be Kids Run The Bases, presented by popchips. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned to the Grizzlies' Facebook and Twitter accounts for the exclusive Social Sunday only available at Chukchansi Park on July 21st.
