Tulsa Oilers News Release

Get Busy: The Tulsa Oilers begin one of the busiest stretches of the season Christmas night at Oklahoma City at 7:10 p.m. That begins a run of seven games in 10 days for the Oilers. They play at home Friday against the Wichita Thunder at 7:35 p.m. and host the Mississippi RiverKings Saturday at 7:35 p.m. All games can be heard via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com.

Muddy Week: The Oilers faced the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs twice last week. They lost 4-3 in a shootout Friday night at Bossier-Shreveport and dropped a 5-2 decision at home on Saturday.

Quickly Now: The Oilers scored two goals in 18 seconds on Friday night and got all three of their goals in a 2:37 span in that game.

Hot Line: The trio of Sean Collins, Jeff Christian and Mike Beausoleil continues to befuddle opposing defenses. In the two games last week, Collins figured in four of the five Oiler goals with two goals and two assists. Christian also had four points with a goal and three assists and Beausoleil had a goal and assist.

First Timer: Defenseman Cody Hamilton scored his professional goal Saturday night. It came at 16:27 of the second period and was assisted by two other rookies, Mike Mullen and Jereme Tendler.

Order Up: Instead of dishing out goals and body checks Monday night, the Oilers will be dishing out ribs and catfish at Runt's Bar-B-Q. The Oilers will be serving as waiters from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Runts. All tips to the Oilers will be donated to the Salvation Army. The Oilers coach's show will take place Tuesday night this week at 7 p.m. at Cowboy Sharkies.

Tickets Here: Tickets for all Oilers games are available at the BOK Center box office or by calling 866-7-BOK-CTR (726-5287). Tickets can also be purchased on line at www.tulsaoilers.com and at area Reasor's and Homeland Grocery Stores.
