
Hockey Sticks Join Chop Sticks at Taste of Hartford

Hartford, June 7, 2004: Who says hockey and gourmet delights don't mix? The Hartford Wolf Pack and Hartford Civic Center will join more than two dozen restaurants and other area organizations to celebrate the 22nd annual "Taste of Hartford" this Wednesday through Sunday at Constitution Plaza in Hartford.
Sonar the Hartford Wolf Pack's mascot will be on hand each day at noon to greet fans young and old. Kids can try their hand at hockey 'summer-style' at the giant slapshot game, and staff will be on hand for anyone interested in learning more about the American Hockey League team, season tickets and sponsorship opportunities. The League will play the 2004-2005 season, regardless of the scheduling of the National Hockey League.
The Wolf Pack/Civic Center booth is located right near the clock tower, and will be staffed each day from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack hockey club is part of Madison Square Garden LP. Cablevision Systems Corporation owns a controlling interest in MSG LP, which also includes the New York Rangers (NHL), New York Knicks (NBA), the New York Liberty (WNBA), the MSG Network, Fox Sports Net and the Madison Square Garden arena complex.
