Hilsenroth, Pedersen Join Coaching Staff

The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) is pleased to announced new additions to its coaching staff for the upcoming season. Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs and Offensive Line Coach Rich Wirkus will be joined by three new coaches, two of which are former Storm players. Defensive Coordinator Brian Hermanson, defensive line coach Mike Micheali, and assistant Bob Litz will return to the staff as well.

Donny Hilsenroth, a former all-league linebacker with the Storm will begin duties with the Storm as a defensive assistant coach in charge of linebackers and special teams. Hilsenroth, finished his career with the Storm in 2003 after becoming the team's all-time leading tackler.

Another former Storm standout, Roger Pedersen, will assume duties as defensive line coach and special teams assistant. Pedersen started every season he played with the Storm and finished last season as an all-league performer. Also new to the staff is receivers coach Dave Kimura. Kimura joins the Storm after spending a season as Offensive Coordinator at Dakota Wesleyan.
