
High School Quarterback Challenge Draws Over 15 Athletes

Reading, Pa. (February 24, 2011) - The first annual Quarterback Challenge is off to a great start for the Reading Express. The Express and game night sponsor Berks Technical Institute (BTI) invited the quarterbacks of every area high school, and several of those athletes returned the call.
This Saturday's halftime event will boast more than 15 quarterbacks, all vying for bragging rights and a monetary donation to the school's athletic department.

Each quarterback will be sporting their team jersey for the respective school. The competition will consist of six targets at various lengths, with a point system based on each of those targets. The quarterback who accumulates the most points will not only win the QB Challenge, but also reap a $200 donation from BTI to their athletic department.
Game Details: The QB Challenge will take place during halftime of this Saturday's Reading Express-Lehigh Valley Steelhawks game at Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa. The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are going fast, so order yours today. Call 610.372.7277 to get your seats for the game.
Reading Express Indoor Professional Football will begin the 2011 season on Saturday, February 26, on The Reading Hospital Medical Group Field at Sovereign Center against the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks. The Reading Express are one of the most established franchises in indoor football. In five seasons, the team has amassed an overall record of 64-20 with four playoff appearances, two conference titles and the 2009 AIFA National Championship. In 2011, Reading will begin play as a new member of the Indoor Football League.
